"Fahimta" is the Hausa word for understanding — and it's the idea the Academy was built on. Real understanding isn't memorised in a classroom; it's demonstrated with your hands, on a rooftop, a farm, or a construction site.
Incorporated in Abuja in 2021 as Fahimta Advancement Foundation (CAC RC 167427) and based on Goruba Road in GRA Katsina, with a permanent campus rising in Tsanni Village on the Dutsinma–Katsina Road, the Academy trains school leavers and young adults across Northern Nigeria in the trades the region's economy actually runs on: solar power, construction, security systems, and modern agriculture.
In August 2025, the National Board for Technical Education formally approved Fahimta as a Skill Training Centre — clearing the path for NABTEB-recognised certification for every graduate.
